– Designed for 1984 to ’90 Sportsters. (Note: 1984-up XL’s were still 4-speed until 1991, but went to the triangular (multi) 19 splines from ’84 thru 1990). Please check your splines on your tranny shaft before ordering! The older models will have 6 square splines on that output shaft.
